A Personal Connection to the History of LH Artchoice
Hans Hoppler was a trained graphic designer who increasingly devoted himself to painting from the 1960s onwards. In his studio in Cademario in Ticino, he developed an individual artistic language influenced by Constructivism and an exploration of form, colour and space.
His three-dimensional acrylic paintings and his distinctive interpretation of the double-wall technique are particularly characteristic of his work.
Alongside his independent artistic practice, Hans Hoppler also realised works in the field of art in and on architecture. In 1995, he participated in the group exhibition ART 95 “Top70” in New York.
Today, LH Artchoice preserves an extensive collection of his works. I present selected pieces in the gallery between changing exhibitions.
In this way, Hans Hoppler remains present as both an artist and part of the personal history of LH Artchoice – a connection between past, present and future.
Art with History. Art with a Future.
